Abby Arrieta, M.Ed., BCBA, LBA, is committed to providing highly individualized ABA therapy grounded in compassion, playfulness, and genuine care. With an ability to see situations from others’ perspectives, she excels at building trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Inspired by the progress she witnessed in her first role in ABA, Abby redirected her focus from pursuing a career in speech-language pathology to becoming a BCBA, with an emphasis on school readiness for preschool-aged children. Her clinical style emphasizes behavior skills training and incorporates role-play to teach functional communication skills. She utilizes this strategy when working with both clients and staff.
Abby holds a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics from the University of Texas at Austin, a Master’s in Education with an emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction in Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University, and a second Master’s in Psychology with an emphasis in Child Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Outside of her professional work, Abby enjoys traveling, playing volleyball, and spending quality time with her family and dogs.
“I find fulfillment in supporting others—it’s always been important to me to lend a hand whenever I can and prioritize the needs of those around me.
