Sewra Cuddus, M.Ed., BCBA
Sewra Cuddus, M.Ed., BCBA, is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Clinic Director with nearly 18 years of experience working with individuals with special needs and almost 10 years of experience as a BCBA. She is passionate about helping children and families build meaningful skills and achieve lasting progress through compassionate, evidence-based care.
She earned her undergraduate degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Houston and later completed her Master of Education (M.Ed.) with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis from the University of Houston- Victoria.
Originally from Eritrea and raised in Houston, Sewra brings both professional expertise and personal experience to her role. As a proud mother of twins, including one child diagnosed with Autism, she understands firsthand the importance of caregiver collaboration, advocacy, and individualized support.
She is especially passionate about communication development, caregiver training, and empowering families with practical strategies that improve quality of life across environments. Sewra has experience working with learners ranging from 18 months to 22 years old, including individuals with severe maladaptive behaviors. Her clinical approach emphasizes compassionate care, functional communication, family partnership, and creating meaningful progress tailored to each learner’s unique strengths and needs.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and staying active.
