Family-Focused Programming
Considers the needs of the entire family in client programming and allows families to provide input into the help they need in their home and community.
Not only do ABA clinicians provide parents with education about their child’s autism diagnosis, but they also guide them with behavior management techniques, and how to teach their child new skills.
Of course, their insight gives our team important information about their child that can direct the course of our treatment.
At BrightPath Behavior, we provide caregiver training on using ABA principles at home and in the community. Our BCBAs work one-on-one with family members to ensure your child uses their newly learned skills and pro-social behaviors in their natural environment, not just the clinic.
Your child’s BCBA will be available to discuss your questions, concerns, and ideas. Typically, team meetings occur once every two to four weeks, depending on your child’s needs. You will evaluate your child’s progress and the next steps in their treatment plan.
By actively participating and implementing these strategies, you can create a supportive environment that fosters your child’s progress and development in the ABA process.
